The Obituary
WARREN JEFFERY ROGERS (AKA Bayok) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 14, 1949 to the late Jeffery and Nellie Rogers. Warren was educated in the Philadelphia public school system and attended Benjamin Franklin High School. Warren Rogers was in the United States Army until August 1969. He then worked as a truck driver for Du All Trucking Company until he was unable to any longer due to changes in his health. Warren married Brenda Rogers on September 20, 1969. from their union four wonderful children were born: Dione, Darren, Dennis and Dana. Warren also enjoyed cooling on the grill, tending to his garden, drawing, reading and he also had the gift of gab of talking trash. Warren departed this life on July 19, 2010. loving and fond memories will be cherished by his wife, Brenda; children, Dione, Darren, Dennis, Dana and Robert Wilkerson (whom he considered his own son); his siblings, Edgar, Janice, and Karen; his grandchildren, Darren Jr., Devon, Dyair, Dorian, Dykeem, Dennis Jr., Deja, Dyeema and Zakia. In addition to one son-in-law, James Williams, two daughters-in-law, Tracie Rogers and Kia Rogers; four brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law, two godchildren, Yvette Bell and Marcus Reeves; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
