A Time To Be Born DAVID A. JEFFERSON was born March 16, 1987 to Annette Jefferson who preceded him in death and James Lyles in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the youngest of two children. David was affectionately known as "Dave" to his family and friends. A Time To Die On Friday, July 2, 2010 after talking to his wife, Darniece, and talking to many of his family and friends on Facebook, God in His infinite wisdom, called our beloved Dave home to his eternal resting place in heaven. A Time To Build David was educated in the Philadelphia School System, attending Lankenau High School. Upon realizing he needed his high school diploma, being the intelligent man that he was, he decided one day just to go take the GED, and upon passing he was awarded his General Education Diploma. Later in 2008, David decided to join the United States Army following in his mother and father's footsteps. His aspirations of becoming a doctor led him to become a licensed EMT, and later becoming a Medic in the Army. David did so well that he was assigned to do many tasks that would lead him to his dream of becoming a doctor. A Time To Embrace David was raised in a Christian home and as a child he attended Mt. Airy C.O.G.I.C. David's belief of God was developed as a child and continued on as an adult. A Time To Love David was a bright, loving young man who showed a caring, loving and kind spirit that he was able to exhibit to everyone he met. He was bought up in a family home with his mother, grandmother, brother, father and many other family members. The home had a positive atmosphere for him to grow up in, knowing the importance of Christian love, education, and becoming a strong young man was strongly emphasized. David met Darniece Melton-Jefferson and they soon became a loving married couple. Upon entering the Army, their love continued and they soon became the proud parents of a young son, Ian Jefferson. A Time To Laugh David enjoyed spending time with his cousins and playing trivia games. Later when he met his wife, they built special times together with their son, Ian. A Time To Mourn David had a tremendous impact on many lives. He leaves to mourn: his wife, Darniece Jefferson; his son, Ian Jefferson; his father, James Lyles; his brother, William Jefferson; his mother-in-law, Marlene Watson; his grandmother, Mildred Jefferson; grandmother-in-law, Rachelle Williams-Blow his sister-in-law, Deborah Watson; brother-in-law, Maqi Watson; his uncle, Dwayne Watson; his uncles, Michael Jefferson and Ronald Jefferson; aunts, Roslyn Cusaac (Ocie), Vinnie Miller and Leolis Walker; and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces.
