The Obituary
ALFREDA DOREEN TILLERY was born on July 10, 1949 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
She was one of five children born to Alfred and Christian Carter, who preceded her in death along with her sister, Paulette.
Alfreda was called to be with the Lord on Monday, Jun 1, 2009.
Alfreda was educated through the Philadelphia Public School System.
Alfreda worked in the medical field for many years.
Alfreda was united in marriage to Robert Tillery in 1980. This union was blessed with one child, Robyn Tillery.
She was a kind and sweet person. Alfreda accepted the Lord at an early age. She attended the Nothing But The Word Deliverance Church. She was a Sunday school teacher, on the Usher Board, Hospitality Committee and a Greeter under the leadership of Reverend Patricia A. Phillips.
She leaves to mourn: her daughter, Robyn Tilley; her adopted son, Karheem Tillery; four grandchildren, Tyreek, Cheri, Antwine and Kwamir; one great-grand, Zaniyah; two sisters, Karen and Cheryl; one brother, Allen; four stepchildren, Jimmy, Barbara, Carolyn and Jeffrey; and a host of nieces, nephews, and a very special friend, Yvonne.
