The Obituary DONGO KENBOZOMO PEWEE was born July 23, 1954 to the late Yapacbu Pewee and Korpo Gasai Pewee at Curran Hospital in Zorzor, Lofa County, Liberia West Africa. Dongo attend the Luther Church of Zozor with his family he received his formal education in the Balagwalazu public school system of Zorzor district, Lofa County. After graduating from Zorzor Central School, Dongo was employed at the Ministry of Finance in the Anti-Fraud division of the Bureau of Customs and Excise. In 1978 he met and married Odell Sinoe. To this union was born three children, Korpo, Dongo and Yarpazu. In 1983, Dongo moved to the U.S.A. to further his education. He enrolled in Ohio Tech to study Criminal Justice. After spending two years there, he moved to Philadelphia and resided with Ben. Gboler-Weefaa and Alice Howard Wilson. He changed his major and enrolled in Delaware County Community College and pursued a career in Hotel Management. After graduation, he was employed by the Four Season's Hotel where he remained until his homegoing. He was a dedicated and faithful employee; Dongo was loved and respected by the staff and his fellow worker. Seeking a closer relationship with the Lord, Dongo joined the First Presbyterian Church of Springfield under the pasturage of Reverend Birch. Dongo departed this life April 13, 2008. he leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Odell; his children, Korpo, Dongo and Yarpazu of the U.S. and Kebeth and Kpedee of Liberia; his mother, Korpo G. Pewee; two sisters, that he helped to raise, Gbolu of Brussels, Belgium and Ester Eyea Akoi Cecelia Banto of Minnesota; one grandson, Christian; other sisters, brothers, ants, uncles, nieces, nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
