The Obituary
Maggie Wilson was born on May 18, 1911, to Willie Hill and Annie Roberts in Surry, VA. She left home at an early age and was reared by Rebecca House and family. There she learned embroidery and sewing, this was her joy and past time. She met and married Ester Wilson that union produced three children James, Anna and Roger whom she hovered over with love.
She was a member of Greater St. Matthew Church, where she was baptized and attended services regularly. Maggie was a homemaker who enjoyed preparing meals and decorating her home. However, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her children, Maggie leaves behind two sisters Marie and Elsie and a brother Willie, and host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
May each of us take a minute to reflect on the life of Maggie and thank God for her pleasant spirit which has returned to our father knowing that she is enjoying her new home with our savior. She leaves behind pleasant thoughts and cherished memories with her family and friends.
